All persons appearing in any visual depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct available on DuoText were at least eighteen (18) years old at the time the depiction was created. Every account holder attests to being at least eighteen (18) years old at registration; creators complete identity verification before publishing content on the platform; and content featuring additional participants cannot be viewed until documented age and consent verification is on file for each appearing participant, as described in Section 3.

Content uploaded by creators is produced by the creators themselves. With respect to that content, each creator is the "primary producer" under 28 C.F.R. 75 and is contractually required to create and maintain the required records — including government-issued photo identification and signed releases for every person appearing — and to make them available on lawful request. DuoText acts as a secondary producer/distributor: every account attests to being 18 or older at registration, creators complete identity verification before publishing content on the platform, and content featuring additional participants cannot be viewed until documented age and consent verification is on file for each participant.

Certain content on the service (for example, non-explicit imagery, or depictions covered by 18 U.S.C. §2257A certification for simulated conduct) may be exempt from some record-keeping requirements; where an exemption applies, this statement is provided regardless. An 18+ age attestation is required of every account holder platform-wide, and provider-based age verification is enforced in jurisdictions where required by applicable law.
