Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you use the service.
Effective July 7, 2026 · Operated by [Legal entity — to be completed] ("DuoText", "we", "us").
1. Who we are
DuoText is a paid-messaging platform for adult creators and their fans, operated by [Legal entity — to be completed]. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy, govern every account and every purchase on the service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility — adults only
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account. Registration requires your date of birth and an explicit attestation that you are 18 or older and that viewing adult content is legal in your jurisdiction.
- Creators must additionally complete identity verification before publishing content, and tax onboarding before receiving payouts; content featuring additional participants cannot be viewed until documented age and consent verification is on file for each participant.
- We suspend accounts that misrepresent age or identity and, where the law requires it, report them.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done through your account. You may not sell, share, or transfer an account. We may require re-verification at any time. One person may not operate accounts designed to evade a block, a ban, or a payment restriction.
4. Creator content and licenses
- Creators retain full ownership of the content they upload.
- Creators grant DuoText a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process (including thumbnails, previews, watermarks, and safety scanning), and deliver their content to the users entitled to view it. This license exists solely to operate the service and ends when the content is deleted, except for records we must keep by law.
- Fans receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to view purchased or subscribed content within the service. Downloading, recording, screenshotting, re-uploading, or redistributing content is prohibited and terminates the license.
- Every person appearing in published content must be a verified adult who has given documented consent (see the §2257 statement). Content with unverified participants cannot be published.
5. Purchases, subscriptions, and renewals
- Prices are shown in the currency the creator set. You are charged exactly the displayed amount; we do not convert currencies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel any time before renewal; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Price-increase protection (grandfathering): your renewals are never charged more than the price you last agreed to — at subscription, or at a tier or price change you explicitly accepted. A price increase applies to you only after you accept it; on group subscriptions a price DECREASE is passed through automatically at renewal. If the currency of a plan changes, we do not silently convert — the renewal is paused and you are asked to re-accept.
- Failed renewals are retried; if payment cannot be collected the subscription is cancelled.
- One-time purchases (paid messages, unlocks, tips, gifts, calls, live sessions, custom requests) are charged when you confirm them. A purchase is complete only when the service confirms it — if a charge succeeds but the item cannot be delivered, it is refunded.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
Eligible purchases carry a "Request refund" option on the receipt; requests are reviewed by our team and, when approved, returned to the original payment method. Filing a card dispute for content you received may lead to account restriction for payment abuse. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
7. Creator earnings and payouts
Publishing content requires completed identity verification. Creator earnings clear over a holding window before they are available for payout, and payouts require completed identity and tax onboarding. We may withhold or reverse amounts tied to fraud, refunds, chargebacks, or unlawful content, and we may offset negative balances against future earnings.
8. Prohibited content and conduct
The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms. In short: no minors anywhere near the service, no non-consensual content, no illegal content, no in-person services, no harassment, no payment abuse. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material: it is removed, preserved as evidence, and reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
9. Moderation, enforcement, and appeals
We review reported and automatically-flagged content and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts. Unless the law prevents it, we tell you what was actioned and why, and you can appeal through the Complaints process, which is answered within seven days.
10. Copyright
We respond to copyright notices under the DMCA and terminate repeat infringers — see the DMCA & Copyright Policy.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms. Sections that by nature survive (licenses for delivered content, payment obligations, disputes, records we must keep) survive termination.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be completed], without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are unaffected.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the service at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. The binding text of this agreement is the English version.
